Men's Basketball Increases Win Streak to Seven
Ankeny, IA -- Faith men's basketball won their final regular season games over the weekend to improve to 19-8 overall and 9-3 in MCCC play as they head into postseason on a seven game win streak.

The Eagles avenged their early semester loss to Ozark on Friday, leading by as many as 33 points in their sixth straight victory.
Mason Gorsh scored the first 6 points for the Eagles, knocking down his first three point attempts of the game to lead early. It took Faith three minutes to put on the jets and pull away, as they clicked on both ends of the court to lead 52-28 after 20 minutes. Asa LaFleur scored the first basket for the Eagles after the break, and although scoring slowed for both teams in the second half, the home hosts continued to build their lead for the eventual 29 point victory over the Ambassadors.
Mason Gorsh led all scoring with 20 points in Friday's win, and Cade Cooper did a little bit of everything with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 steals. Asa LaFleur rounded out double-digit scoring with 10 points, adding 3 assists and 3 rebounds to his totals.
Faith faced the Warriors on Saturday, putting together another solid game to complete the season sweep against Calvary.
The Warriors started out hot, hitting eight of their first ten shots to give them an early lead. Faith scored constistently and stayed close befoer taking the lead back with a make from deep by Mason Gorsh. The Eagles kept that lead through the break, leading 46-31 at halftime. The Eagles hit a layup and three straight 3 pointers to start the second half on an 11-0 run before Calvary found their first make. The Eagles kept their lead and 15 players saw the court in the 94-67 victory.
On Saturday the Eagles honored their four-year seniors, Logan Fincham and Connor Parrish. Fincham has played 115 games in a Faith uniform and has tallied 691 points, 388 rebounds, 228 assists, and 116 steals. Parrish's totals include 321 points, 163 rebounds, 130 assists, and 50 steals in 98 games. Logan, Connor, and the rest of the squad are set for a solid postseason run, kicking off the MCCC tournament next week as the #1 seed.
