LAST TIME OUT
The Eagles took down Conference opponent Ozark Christian in 3 sets, winning 25-21, 25-22, and 25-19.
LIGHTWELL TROPHY
Faith and Emmaus will compete for the Lightwell Trophy during Tuesday's match. The trophy was introduced in 2024 as the second traveling trophy between the two Iowa schools. Emmaus won the inagural match and currently holds the trophy, but with a win on Tuesday Faith can bring it home for the year.
TOP TEN
Faith earned a top ten spot in the National Rankings on September 9th, starting the year at the #6 spot. The Eagles are currently ranked #5 after the third coaches poll of the year.
ON A ROLL
The Eagles started the 2025 season hot with a 12-4 record and their win-streak up to 7 before falling to Calvary.
FAITH NOTES
- The Eagles finished the 2024 season with an 18-15 record, placing second at the MCCC tournament and winning back to back North Region championships.
- Faith reached the NCCAA National tournament for the third time in four years in 2024, and look to sustain their on-court success in 2025.
- The Eagles return 8 members from the 2024 squad, six of which started double-digit matches in 2024; Codie Wirges (33), Belle Wirges (33), Victoria Nerem (33), Maddie Hofmann (33), Grace Brower (33), and Alyssa Stephens (26).
NEW FACES
The Eagles women's volleyball program and head coach Lanny Nihart will welcome seven newcomers to the 2025 roster with four filling front row spots and three primarily in the back row. The newcoming group brings the roster to 15 players.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Emmaus entered the top ten rankings in the latest coaches poll, coming in at #9. The teams have met once in 2025, with Faith winning 3-0 at home.
