2025-26 Women's Basketball Season Review
Ankeny, IA -- Faith women’s basketball battled through a challenging season that saw the Eagles come up just short against the eventual National Champions
Faith Women's Basketball brought in a young core to compliment their eight returning players from the 2024-25 campaign. Facing tough competition to start the year, the Eagles found their first win in December with a 70-42 victory over FLBC on the road. Faith played most of their opponents within a few points, and never found themselves out of the fight throughout the season. In January the Eagles earned their third straight win against Maranatha, and a month later they found their biggest win of the season against the #1 team in the Conference, Ozark Christian College.
The Eagles entered the Regional tournament as the #4 seed, taking on Crown in the quarterfinals. Faith put their best foot forward, swapping leads and fighting until the final buzzer, but their season ultimately came to an end in the North Region Tournament.
