Emma Boldt set the tone of the game as she scored just three minutes in, taking advantage of an errant pass from the Sabercat's defense, and notching in the first goal of the day. Elliana Fritz increased the Eagles lead, adding a goal of her own in the 21st minute. Faith's lead held and they took a 2-0 lead into the break.
The Eagles added one more goal to their total, as Annalis Benson scored from an Eliana Fritz assist, and Faith took the victory in their only matchup against Maranatha this season.
Faith outshot the Sabercats 12-1 in the first half and 19-4 in the match. Megan Yuan recorded 3 saves on her way to her first shutout of the season and the fourth of her career.
