Ankeny, IA -- Faith women's soccer continued their homestand against Regional opponent North Central, falling 1-0 in full time.

The Eagles came out with energy right from kickoff, seeming to control the flow of the game early. Faith outshot the Rams 9-1 in the first half, with six of those attempts on goal. The Eagles kept their compusure through a physical first 45 minutes, sending them into the break tied 0-0.
The second half saw a more even start as both teams vied for the first goal. in the 49th minute, a Ram defender intercepted a pass deep in Eagle territory and set a long cross to her teammate for the opening goal. North Central found their second wind and the momentum seemed to shift in the Rams favor. With just five minutes left, Emma Boldt gave the Eagles their best chance to score, sending a shot from just outside the box that hit the crossbar and all but bounced into the goal before being secured by the Rams goalkeeper. Ultimately, the game ended 1-0 in favor of the visiting team, and the Eagles continue to seek their first win of the season.
