Men's Soccer Wins in Comeback Fashion
Ankeny, IA -- The Eagles kept their win streak alive on Friday as they took down MCCC Opponent Ozark Christian College, 3-2.

For the first time this season, Faith did not score first. The Ambassadors came out with high intensity and scored less than two minutes into the match, a move the the Eagles are used to being on the other side of. Faith went on the offensive for most of the remaining first half minutes, outshooting their opponent 13-3, but the Ozark GK stayed steady recording 8 first half saves and the Eagles trailed 0-1 at halftime.
Having had a chance to make adjustments during the break, Faith came out with high intensity in the second half and Parker Lundberg scored the equalizer just three minutes in. Less than ten minutes later, Noah Blomquist gave the Eagles their first lead of the match. It was still anyone's game and the teams played as such until a miscue leading to an own goal from Ozark all but put the game out of reach in the 70th minute. The Ambassadors would go on to score one more goal, but it was not enought and Faith took the 3-2 comeback victory.
With the win, Faith moves to 6-0-1 on the season and stays a perfect 4-0-0 in MCCC play to remain at the top of the Conference standings.
