Eagles Finish Regular Season at Indian Hills Invitational
Ottumwa, IA -- Faith cross country finished their regular season slate in Ottumwa at the Indian Hills Invitational
Friday's meet saw a similar storyline as Brian Rohde and Carlie Blevins led their teams start to finish. Rodhe finished in the middle of the pack, placing 35th out of 70 runners with his 8k time of 28:23.95 while Blevins earned the 7th place finish with a program-record time of 18:53.34
The women posted a total team time of 1:51:07, giving them the sixth place finish out of seven total teams. Becca Hulinsky finished second for the Eagles (21:02.81) and Lydia Mueller, Jelena Bausch, and Leah Leary all finished within two minutes of Hulinsky.
Ethan Smith finished second for the men's team, posting a time of 33:05.44 as the men finished with a team time of 2:53:43. Brandon Smith (36:05.44) and Maxwell Johnston (36:34.52) finished next, with Andrew Hackley (39:34.79) and Ben Hackley (40:14.30) rounding out the men's times for the day
Up Next: Faith Cross Country will compete in the NCCAA Super Regional meet in Dubuque on Friday, October 24th. The men's 8k is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. CT, whith the women's 5k to follow at 5:00 p.m. CT.
