The Eagles came out with energy but ultimately fell to Marshalltown in three sets, with scores of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-13.
Faith started strong, leading in each of the first two sets, but couldn't maintain their advantage against a determined Marshalltown squad. In the opening set, Faith battled hard but narrowly lost 25-23. The second set saw a similar scenario, with Faith building a lead before the Tigers pulled away for a 25-20 win. By the third set, MCC took control, winning 25-13 to close out the match.
The Eagles will have another shot at Marshalltown as they play host to the Tigers on October 11th at 6:00 PM.
