Bio
Zak Kirkman serves as Assistant Athletic Director and Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Faith Baptist Bible College. Since taking over the program in 2022, Kirkman has worked to establish a culture of competitiveness, discipline, and Christ-centered development within the women’s basketball program.
In his time leading the Eagles, Kirkman has guided continued growth and competitiveness within NCCAA Division II play while building a strong foundation for long-term success. His teams have set a new program standard, recording the most wins in a single season in school history with 25 victories, and captured the conference tournament championship in 2025. He has also quickly risen to become the second winningest coach in program history, reflecting the impact of his leadership in a short period of time.
Kirkman’s coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, player development, and a Christ-centered team culture, drawing from his experiences as both a player and coach.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Kirkman contributes to the department through administrative leadership, supporting the continued development of Faith’s athletic programs.
