The Lady Eagles headed into Saturdays match with Lincoln Christian knowing they would have to fight fatigue from their double overtime win over Robert Morris the night before. With many of the players new to soccer, the strong wind would also prove to be a factor in the game. The Eagles lost the toss and headed into the wind for the first half. Lincoln Christian slipped a shot past keeper Blair Smart to take the 1-0 lead thirteen minutes into the game. The Red Lions netted a second goal before halftime to take a 2-0 lead.
With the wind at their back, the Eagles had greater scoring opportunities as the second half began but couldn't get a shot past the opposing goalie. Rachel Hardy made a great save for the Eagles snagging the ball as it approached the net but the Red Lions were awarded a penalty kick because she was not the goalie. Kelsey Grider covered for her teammate blocking the ensuing PK. The Eagles responded quickly as Kirsten Passwaters had a good counter attack, scoring her second goal of the season and making it 2-1. However, the Eagles couldn't get any closer and Lincoln Christian got a final late goal to conclude the match at 3-1.
