The Faith Baptist Bible College women's basketball team travelled to Union College of Lincoln, NE this past Tuesday to take on the Lady Warriors. Faith lost the game 28-68. The Eagles are now 1-12 on the year.
The Eagles were unable to match Union's intensity and productivity from the get go. Union took a very quick 9-2 lead off of three consecutive three point field goals and never looked back, holding a 41-17 lead going into the half. Faith was only able to score 11 second half points with five points coming in the last minute from freshman Hannah Nichols to Union's 27 second half points. The Eagles shot a low 23% for the game. Faith was led in scoring by Becca Saatmann with 9 points.
The Lady Eagles look to bounce back with a better effort at home on Friday, January 18th against conference opponent Central Christian College of the Bible who comes into the game ranked #8 in the NCCAA II. That game will tip off at 5:30 PM.
