The Faith Baptist Bible College (0-2) women's basketball team home hosted Emmaus Bible College (0-1) on Saturday in the second game of the Faith Classic Tournament. Faith won the game 56 - 31 to get their first win of the season.
Faith started off the first half fairly slow only scoring 22 first half points. The Eagles defense was very strong, though, holding Emmaus to 15 first half points. In the second half, Faith was able to pull away leading by double digits early on, and never losing that double digit lead as each of the 11 Lady Eagles were able to score a basket. The eagles were led in scoring by Sophomore Becca Saatmann with a season high 17 points and 12 rebounds. Junior Jenna Bean led the team with a season high 9 steals. Kelsey Grider had 5 blocks.
Faith's next game is a home game, November 16, at 5:00 PM vs. Manhattan Christian College.
